When someone asks for numbered pages
Court filings, tenders, thesis appendices and insurance claims are usually required to be paginated, so that everyone can refer to "page 34" and mean the same sheet. The documents that need it are the ones you would rather not hand to a website.
What it writes on the page
A number is drawn on every page in the corner and format you choose, starting from the number you set — useful when the file is the second half of a dossier that already reached 47. Nothing else on the page is touched, and the pages themselves are not redrawn or recompressed.
Limits
The number is drawn with a standard font, so it looks the same everywhere but does not match a design. It does not renumber a table of contents that was already written, and a number can land on top of existing content: choose another corner when it does. To put the pages in the right order first, use Organize PDF.
Is it private?
