The figures you are about to retype
The usual case is an invoice, a bank statement or a report that arrived as a PDF, and the numbers are needed in a spreadsheet. Copying a PDF table by hand puts everything in one column; copying it here keeps each value in its own cell, and the file never leaves your device.
Why drawn lines matter
A PDF has no idea what a table is: it holds text at coordinates. When the cells are outlined, the lines say exactly where each row and column ends, so the cells can be rebuilt without guessing. That is why this tool exports tables that are ruled, and says so plainly when a document has none, instead of shuffling the text into columns at random.
What comes across
One sheet per table, in the order they appear. Cells merged across columns or rows stay merged, the first row is styled as a header, and a table that continues on the next page is joined into one sheet with its repeated header row dropped. Amounts written as "1.234,56 €" or "1,234.56" become real numbers, so totals and sorting work; dates, codes and phone numbers stay as text.
Limits
Tables lined up with spaces alone, and scanned tables, are not detected: there are no lines to read. For those, PDF to Word gives you the text, and OCR PDF makes a scan searchable first. Colours, fonts and formulas are not carried over: what you get are the values.
Which tables it can export
Tables whose cells are drawn with lines: invoices, bank statements, timetables, reports exported from a spreadsheet. The lines say exactly where each row and column ends, so the cells land where they should instead of being guessed from spacing. Cells merged across columns or rows come out merged, and a table split over two pages is joined into one sheet. Tables laid out only with spacing, and scanned tables, are not detected.
Is it private?

Is my PDF uploaded?
No. The file is read and the spreadsheet is built in your browser, so the document never leaves your device. You can check it in your browser's Network tab while you use the tool.
Do the numbers come out as numbers?
Yes, when the shape is unambiguous. "1.234,56 €" and "1,234.56" both become the same number, so totals and sorting work. Anything that could be a date, a phone number or a code stays as text.
Why does it say no tables were found?
Because nothing in the PDF is drawn as a table. Many documents line figures up with spaces, which looks like a table but is not one. For those, PDF to Word gives you the text to work with.
